Yoga Challenge Progress

Hey everyone! I’ve had intense yoga practices this past week. My body definitely feels the workout. Let’s hope I’ll build up enough strength to do my pose. Or at least get close.

I do have an accomplishment to share that I wasn’t specifically working towards. I am able to do Mermaid Pose. This pose takes quite a bit of flexibility. I am stoked about this because I honestly didn’t think I would reach this far. I’m excited to see the further progress I can make.

I just want to tell you guys how much I’ve enjoyed this challenge. It has made me accountable for my practices. Before, I would give myself excuses to miss a day. But with my challenge, I couldn’t bare to skip a day. And now I’m in the habit that when the challenge ends, I can keep going with my regular schedule.

I love how yoga makes my body and soul feel. I have seen the progress my body has made in accomplishing difficult poses that I never thought I’d be able to do when I first started out. And I always feel relaxed, happy, and accomplished afterwords. I encourage you guys to do this challenge if you aren’t already. You will certainly feel the difference as you go along.
